About the Role:
At Sunrise Systems, we are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to support our company-specific servers and data center buildouts at customer facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical hardware, physical network setup, and verbal/written communication skills, as well as be highly analytical with superior attention-to-detail, self-motivated, and a positive, humble attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware/Server Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware and server issues using Linux and Windows command-line interfaces.
- Physical Network Setup: Configure and install network infrastructure, including Layer-1, Layer-2, and Layer-3 networks.
- Network Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve network issues using technical knowledge and tools.
- Lifting and Moving: Safely lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs or in partnership for items over 50lbs.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience.
- CompTIA Server+ or Network+ equivalent experience.
- CCENT or equivalent experience.
- Data Center Experience.
