Position Overview:
As an Intermediate Control Systems Engineer at EO Solutions, you will play a crucial role in the design and execution of sophisticated control systems, particularly focusing on EO/IR technologies. This position requires a proactive individual who is eager to work alongside interdisciplinary teams and contribute to pioneering solutions in control systems architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in making decisions regarding system hardware architecture based on client specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Design, optimize, and sustain control systems that include servos, motors, fast steering mirrors, and various sensors.
- Evaluate process requirements, formulate control strategies, and conduct system modeling and simulations.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems in laboratory and field settings.
- Perform analysis on the stability and performance of control loops.
Qualification Criteria:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in control systems design, especially in optical or EO/IR technologies.
- Expertise in developing and implementing control algorithms and systems.
- Knowledge of electrical and control schematics, as well as control circuits.
- Experience in integrating sensors and actuators, including servos and motors.
- Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A hands-on approach to supporting systems integration processes.
- Experience with the qualification and acceptance testing of new designs.
