Arrow Staffing is seeking a reliable and well-rounded candidate to fill a 3rd shift lamination machine operator position in Byron Center.

Job Summary:

This is an entry-level manufacturing position that assists with production, inspection, packaging of finished product, and cleanup of scrap material.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with operating machinery for molding, lamination, embossing, block cutting, and wrapping
  • Set up and power down machines before and after use
  • Maintain productivity standards and verify parts are being produced correctly per customer orders
  • Cut, bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials per specific production instructions
  • Assist team with additional warehouse/production duties as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow basic general safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Well-rounded, reliable candidate who is willing to be a team player and maintain great attendance
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Must be able to use simple math, count, and use basic hand-held measuring tools
  • Ability to work well independently with little supervision
  • Ability to consistently lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and climbing steps regularly throughout their shift
  • Tolerant of temperature changes
Working Conditions:

This is a 3rd shift position, working from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM Monday-Thursday, with overtime may be required.

Compensation:

The starting pay for this position is $20.00 per hour.
