Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Nuclear Medicine department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
  • Provide guidance and support to Nuclear Medicine Technologists, students, and support staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with hospital goals and objectives.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and service.
Requirements
  • Four years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, with at least two years of leadership experience.
  • ARRT-N certification or CNMT certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
