Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist with Northern Light Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and maximizing occupational performance for individuals and populations. You will exercise independent judgment in directing and supervising the provision of occupational therapy services to a designated group of patients in their homes, with accountability for ensuring that care is rendered correctly and appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care and maximize occupational performance for individuals and populations
• Exercise independent judgment in directing and supervising the provision of occupational therapy services
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and family, as well as the multidisciplinary team, to achieve optimal results and improvement
• Direct and supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, OT students, and Home Health Aides
• Perform and document initial exams, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a therapy diagnosis
• Maintain a safe environment and comply with Northern Light Health policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Ability to travel within assigned region as directed
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and duties
