  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, provide drink menus, and answer questions regarding ingredients.
  • Order Taking: Take orders accurately while paying attention to details, such as coffee blend preferences, dairy and sugar ratios.
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare beverages according to recipes, using espresso machines and other equipment.
  • Serving and Sales: Serve beverages and prepared food, such as cookies, pastries, and muffins, breakfast items, and lunch options.
  • Payment Processing: Receive and process payments, including cash and credit cards.
  • Bar Area Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and well-stocked with clean mugs and plates.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress is preferred.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with espresso machines, knowledge of sanitation regulations, flexibility to work various shifts, basic math skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Education: A high school diploma is required; relevant training is a plus.
Work Environment
  • Physical Setting: The job will take place in a coffee shop environment.
  • Schedule: The schedule will include 5-7 hour shifts, day shifts, and flexibility to work Monday to Sunday.
  • Compensation: The hourly pay is $7.50, plus tips.
