Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Pharmacist to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Retail Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients and assisting in the oversight of day-to-day operations in the compounding pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients, including initial patient evaluation, data analysis, and medication therapy recommendations.
  • Assist in the oversight of day-to-day operations in the compounding pharmacy, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, verification, and inventory management.
  • Provide indirect supervision to support staff and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure pharmacy patients receive their medication(s) accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and improvements to enhance pharmacy operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: B.S. Degree or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Minimum Experience: One to three years of practicing pharmacist experience in a community setting.
  • Minimum License/Certification/Registration: Current Minnesota Pharmacy License.
