Position Overview
We are in search of a dedicated individual to become a part of our Loan Servicing Loan Administration Unit.
Loan Servicing Representatives play a crucial role in delivering ongoing support and services to internal clients throughout the loan lifecycle, ensuring a superior experience for external customers.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and logistical thinking abilities, comfort with financial data and detailed documentation, exceptional customer service skills, and excellent written and verbal communication capabilities. Familiarity with loan management software and current regulations is advantageous.
Compensation: $20-$22.25/hour, based on job level and experience.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist internal and external clients with complex loan and escrow inquiries, addressing issues related to loans, taxes, reserves, partial collateral releases, and insurance; prepare necessary correspondence and provide supporting documentation; perform relevant loan and escrow account maintenance.
- Investigate and resolve loan and escrow servicing-related challenges and customer complaints.
- Review, analyze, and reconcile various reports; identify, research, and rectify errors and discrepancies.
- Maintain, monitor, and reconcile various bank-controlled accounts and remit funds as required.
- Stay informed about pertinent regulations, guidelines, and bank policies; may take a lead role within the assigned unit to direct workflow, review the work of junior staff for accuracy, and assist supervisors with training.
- Perform additional work-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
To excel in this role, an individual must effectively perform each essential duty. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
Education and Experience:
Representative Minimum: Three years of experience in loan servicing, banking, or related administrative roles; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant education may substitute for up to one year of experience.
Preferred: Experience in customer service.
Specialist Minimum: Four years of experience in loan servicing, real estate, financial services, or related fields; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant education may substitute for up to two years of experience.
Preferred: Experience in a leadership capacity.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in typing at least 45 wpm and operating a 10-key calculator is required; experience with word processing and spreadsheet software is essential.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, and the public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to apply basic algebra concepts and accurately read numerical data.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions with several abstract and concrete variables.
