Job Summary

As a Psychiatric Tech I in our Geriatric unit, you will play a vital role in maintaining a therapeutic environment and assisting patients with daily living activities. You will establish a strong therapeutic relationship with assigned patients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs, weigh patients, and collect routine specimens
  • Attend and participate in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings
  • Facilitate the maintenance of a safe and supportive environment for patients
Requirements
  • Minimum 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • CPR certification
