Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Superintendent to join our team at Actalent. As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project administration, ensuring adherence to contract clauses, analyzing reports to identify project deficiencies, and guiding corrective actions.
  • Manage project compliance, documentation, and safety guidelines, and navigate through the requirements of various governing agencies.
  • Financially manage projects, monitor expenses, support collections, and oversee the preparation and communication for monthly backlog reviews with leadership.
  • Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings, and establishing customer expectations.
  • Manage risks, develop mitigation plans, utilize qualified subcontractors, oversee the subcontractor RFQ process, award subcontracts, manage subcontractor execution, and establish communication guidelines for project progress and safety.
  • Qualifications: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: Commercial construction experience - ground-up, renovation, or build-outs from a major General Contractor, HVAC Mechanical and electrical experience, Project management, Financial management, Risk management.
