The State of Indiana is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medicaid and Medicare Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing priorities, targets, and deadlines for improving health outcomes for Indiana's dually eligible population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement effective strategies to improve health outcomes for dually eligible individuals
  • Develop and manage contracts with healthcare providers to ensure alignment with state goals
  • Collaborate with federal and state agencies to stay up-to-date on Medicare and Medicaid policies and initiatives
  • Research and assess federal opportunities to create summaries and recommendations for leadership
  • Manage and develop the State Medicaid Agency Contracts (SMACs) to ensure alignment between Medicare and Medicaid programs
  • Serve as the Medicaid point of contact for Indiana's Dually-Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) and collaborate with the Division of Aging
  • Act as the OMPP Point of contact for Indiana's State Health Insurance-Assistance Program (SHIP)
Requirements
  • Master's Degree and 7+ years of experience, or
  • Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of experience, or
  • Associate's Degree and 11+ years of experience, or
  • 13+ years of experience applying the knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined below.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of Medicare D-SNP or other Advantage Programs and Managed Medicaid Long Term Support & Services (MLTSS)
  • Knowledge of the Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP)
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid federal and state public health care programs and policies
