Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the compliant and quality completion of Bank lending files. This position is responsible for reviewing all stages of residential and commercial lending files to ensure compliance with regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews residential and commercial lending files to ensure compliance with regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
- Catalogues files received and ensures timely completion of tasks.
- Works closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to time-sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work well independently and in groups.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An Associate's Degree or higher in a business-related field.
- Direct Endorsement (DE) Designation or Certified in Loan Processing or Quality Control.
- Experience in underwriting various types of loans, including conventional, VA, FHA, and USDA loans.
- Prior experience with the Ellie Mae Encompass Loan Origination System or similar experience.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with office hours varying from Monday to Saturday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. No travel is required.
Language Skills:
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Bilingual skills are a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information, including company policies and procedures.
Physical Demands:
This is a largely sedentary role, requiring the use of typical office equipment, such as a computer, laptop, and phone. Ability to communicate both in person and/or by telephone.
