- Lead the innovation of engineering principles and ideas.
- Independently identify and implement improved methods and procedures to enhance technical products, cost efficiency, and scheduling.
- Work under consultative guidance, employing independent judgment to achieve objectives.
- Establish standards and guidelines for various engineering activities.
- Design and plan investigations into critical areas lacking engineering precedents relevant to the program.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field is required, along with a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential job functions. A minimum of 13 years in a specific technical discipline or 15 years of diverse engineering experience is expected. Advanced degrees may contribute to experience credit, with limitations for Master's and PhD qualifications.
