Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Control Engineer to join our team at Rose International. As a key member of our facilities engineering and operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the management and implementation of existing or new building controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the specification, design, and operation of Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Develop and implement strategies to complete BMS installations
  • Collaborate with other facilities associates to standardize a unified approach
  • Support training of other engineers with shared responsibilities
  • Determine and prioritize project tasks, develop project schedules to achieve project goals on time and within budget
  • Communicate critical updates to site system operators
  • Support training of facilities associates on enhancements to operations related to controls and mechanical/electrical systems
  • Support the operation of facilities mechanical and electrical systems to ensure that building controls systems meet capacity and reliability requirements
  • Lead meetings and negotiate with customers and contractors of all levels and capabilities
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with customers and contractors
  • Implement new engineering strategies and technologies to support the replacement of facilities equipment and systems at their end of life
  • Project responsibilities for budget, scope of work, bid, award, design, engineering, permitting, construction, and close-out, along with contractor management
  • Lead and/or support in the bidding, evaluation, and selection process of contractors for the design and construction phase of a project
  • Review, verify, and approve engineering/design drawings at various design completion levels
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Controls, or Electrical) or equivalent related controls experience
  • 1 to 3+ years of relevant working experience in a controls/project management/facilities capacity
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NFPA 70); Electrical power distribution components and systems
  • Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement systems
  • Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on prominent levels of quality and customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude, open-minded, and team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient with Auto CAD and/or Revit software
  • Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations
  • Flexibility to work adjusted shifts, as necessary
  • Korean language proficiency a plus
Additional Requirements
  • This role could require up to 10% of travel (domestic or international)
