Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Non-Destructive Test (NDT) professional to join our team at Boeing. As a subject matter expert in NDT processes, you will provide certification testing, approve new and revised production techniques, and conduct audits of NDT processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes, and techniques.
  • Guide the implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques.
  • Develop innovative test processes and equipment.
  • Consult with suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes, and equipment.
  • Develop principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection, or statistical data.
  • Consult on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies.
  • Participate in enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements.
  • Guide the development or improvement of non-destructive inspection or test techniques.
  • Develop, deploy, and implement tests or inspections and data collection techniques utilizing evolving technology.
  • Audit, validate, and approve systems and techniques of suppliers and processors.
  • Develop certification training and examinations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • NDT/NDI certifications as a level 3 Technician per NAS 410 in Ultrasonic, X-ray, Dye Penetrant, Eddy Current, or Magnetic Particle.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment.
