Job Title: NDT Quality Test Specialist

ICONMA, LLC is seeking a highly skilled NDT Quality Test Specialist to join our team. As an NDT Quality Test Specialist, you will be responsible for advising on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes, and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guides implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques.
  • Develops innovative test processes and equipment.
  • Consults suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes, and equipment.
  • Develops principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection, or statistical data.
  • Consults on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies.
  • Participates on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements.
Requirements:
  • Must be certified to Level III or II in accordance with NAS-410 in Ultrasonics.
  • Experience in composites.
  • Experience in ultrasonics.
  • Aerospace.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Scope of project: using manual ultrasonics, specifically bond master and writing techniques.
  • Level II or Level III NAS-410 NDT; will be required to provide certification package, including total OJT hours worked.
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+7 years' related work experience, 11 years' related work experience, etc.).
  • NAS-410 (National Aerospace Standard 410).
  • NDT (Non Destructive Testing).
