We are seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support research studies at our Clinical Research Units.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and research, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a part-time PRN position, with hours determined by staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to research subjects
- Work closely with study subjects, Principal Investigators, and research teams to ensure effective patient care
- Implement treatment plans and manage care in compliance with research protocols
- Seek and provide feedback for improved clinical practice
- Adapt methods and procedures to meet the requirements of clinical trials
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification
The job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent walking, bending, and stooping. The nurse must be proficient in communicative, auditory, and visual skills, with the ability to write legibly.
The nurse may be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
