Job Title: Manufacturing Team Lead

ClarkDietrich is seeking a motivated and experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team in Vienna. As a key member of our shipping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and leading a team of employees to meet or exceed department goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example with safety and ensure the quality of products meet or exceed department goals
  • Train new or inexperienced employees and demonstrate good supervisory skills
  • Troubleshoot inbound and outbound shipments and perform cycle counts to reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Organize the yard/warehouse for efficient operation and understand and implement all policies and procedures, including safety rules
  • Check and sign off on Red Flag quality orders and understand traffic function
  • Create coil run out tags and monitor run-outs, and perform rack adjustments
  • Assign drivers to loads and update daily drive mile report and cost in the computer system
  • Lead by example to CLARKDIETRICH Building Systems company values
Requirements:
  • Mechanical inclination and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred, or military equivalent recognized in lieu of education and/or experience
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to read a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 8 or more hours per day, and walk for 4-6 hours per day
