About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Belmont Village Senior Living. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in overseeing the clinical and care aspects of our community, ensuring the highest level of quality care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
  • Follow up on physician orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report any changes in condition or other pertinent clinical care information to physicians and families.
  • Provide medication administration to assigned residents according to physician orders, reporting any adverse reactions or clinical observations as necessary.
  • Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers.
  • Make situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports.
Requirements
  • Active LVN or LPN license in the state where this community is located.
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work the defined schedule for this position, which may include weekends and holidays.
  • Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.

  • Dependable and self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, adept at guiding and directing teams.
  • Works with a sense of urgency while paying close attention to detail.
  • More than one year of medication management experience.
  • Prior direct supervisory experience.
