The Pavilion at Sequoia integrates the latest medical and surgical services within a serene healing environment, featuring spacious private rooms and beautiful garden areas.
Key Responsibilities:Position Summary: In alignment with the mission and values of Dignity Health, this role is responsible for performing scrub duties in the operating rooms under the supervision of the Perioperative Manager.
Individuals in this position are expected to adhere to all relevant laws and regulations, including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and policies applicable to their job responsibilities. They should seek guidance when uncertain and promptly report any potential or suspected violations of the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, policies, or applicable laws/regulations. Additionally, they may assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating any allegations of violations.
When required, the incumbent will aid in risk assessment and collaborate with facility leaders to implement, monitor, and mitigate risk management plans as outlined by the Compliance program.
Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:
- One (1) year of prior acute hospital experience with certification obtained within the last three (3) years in an Operating Room, or three (3) years of acute care hospital experience within the last five (5) years.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited scrub technician program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CT OR).
- Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
- In lieu of certification, three (3) years of acute care hospital experience within the last five (5) years will be accepted.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cardiovascular surgery within the past five (5) years is preferred.
Pay range: $57.42 per hour.
