Tax Professional with Financial Services Expertise

As a Tax Senior Associate in our Boston office, you will work with top private equity, hedge, and alternative investment funds. You'll gain in-depth knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and deliver comprehensive solutions for transaction, fund, and portfolio company audits, taxes, and value creation.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in tax research and writing, technical skills with MS Office, and project management and organizational abilities. A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm is necessary, with Financial Services Industry experience highly valued.

The estimated salary range for a Tax Senior Associate in Boston is $85,000 to $140,000, with a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded parental benefits, and access to top-notch learning and development platforms included in our Total Rewards package.
Key Responsibilities:- Research tax issues and filing requirements that impact tax compliance.
- Review tax returns (1065 & 1120) and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate complex tax issues using internal revenue code, treasury regulations, and other relevant authorities/guidance.
- Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, overseeing pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverable development.
- Identify opportunities to expand current engagements through analysis of client needs and target requirements.
- Provide regular performance feedback and timely performance evaluations.
