This role will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of required tax documents, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international tax reporting requirements, and managing special projects related to tax and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the compliance process for federal, state, and international tax returns, estimates, annual reports, and other tax-related correspondence.
- Collaborate with the Investment Office to develop and maintain due diligence processes for partnership K-1s and identify reportable unrelated business income for federal, state, and foreign filing requirements.
- Assist in the review of Form 990 and 990-T, compiling and analyzing University data, and gathering information from various departments.
- Perform tax research as needed to support tax filings, such as Excise Tax, Sales & Meals Tax, and others.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with key departments, including the Investment Office and the Office of Global Programs.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, including complex formulas to acquire, organize, and analyze data.
- Ability to analyze data to determine relevant conclusions and suggest appropriate actions to management.

Estimated Salary RangeThe estimated salary range for this position is between $78,000 and $156,000, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity.
