About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Support Specialist to join our team at Potawatomi Federal Solutions. As a federal government contractor, we provide essential services and administrative support to our family of industry-leading federal government contracting subsidiaries.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing operational support for server class platforms, maintaining Windows and Linux servers, executing backups, and assisting with property management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Army IT regulations and security procedures, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform power up/down procedures for various platforms and devices located in the data center.
  • Provide operational support for server class platforms.
  • Maintain Windows and Linux servers following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Execute backups on all assigned systems at specified times.
  • Assist in Property Management and working with Government staff to prepare equipment for pickup.
  • Provide help desk support for Fort Detrick NEC and must have the ability to log problems via telephone, e-mail or web and attempt to resolve or elevate to appropriate SME.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate degree desired, with five (5)+ years' relevant experience.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar help desk tracking tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Access, Excel, and Word.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $60K-$70K DOE annually.
