Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at a leading children's hospital. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to children and adolescents experiencing acute psychiatric crises.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medication and taking doctor's orders.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patients' unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
- Provide education and coping skills to patients and their families on topics such as sex education, suicidal behaviors, symptom management, and self-control.
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing with an active RN license required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- One year of post-education nursing experience preferred, with experience working with individuals with cognitive and/or behavioral challenges or medically complex conditions.
- Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, and experience with data collection/analyzing platforms.
