Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse III, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals with complex pulmonary and nephrology conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication management, wound care, and respiratory therapy.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting self-care and independence.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of unit goals and standards of care.
  • Serve as a preceptor and mentor to new staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in a pulmonary or nephrology setting.
