Key Responsibilities
  • Assess donor eligibility, including managing informed consent, providing AIDS education, and conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks.
  • Perform physical examinations, blood testing, and review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.
  • Evaluate donor reactions at the facility and adhere to SOPs for medical emergencies, including executing the Center Physician's standing orders and organizing donor transport to emergency care facilities.
  • Champion vaccination programs for employees, including Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination.
  • Master the art of incident management and potentially become a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
Requirements
  • LPN or LVN license in AZ.
  • BLS certification.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • High School Diploma.
