PennState Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Temple, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our Cardiology Services department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a senior sonographer or physician.
Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality cardiac ultrasound studies to diagnose and monitor cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology to provide expert imaging services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- ARDMS or CCI registration or eligibility, with registration within 1 year of start date.
- American Heart Association BLS certification within 6 months from hire.
