Position Overview:

The Night Operations Facilities Supervisor will oversee the evening management of facilities services, ensuring the upkeep of the campus infrastructure and surroundings. This role is crucial in maintaining the operational integrity of the College's facilities and supporting its overarching objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the nightly operations and maintenance of the campus, including cleaning services and technical maintenance.
  • Address and resolve after-hours emergencies and campus issues through effective communication channels.
  • Delegate and supervise the completion of routine maintenance tasks, safety inspections, and scheduled upkeep of buildings and grounds.
  • Enhance communication within the facilities team and promote the use of technology for process improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations, including necessary permits and registrations.
  • Prepare financial estimates and track expenditures against budgetary limits.
  • Coordinate facilities preparation for various events, including academic and athletic functions.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance projects with staff and external vendors to optimize resource allocation.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and management of campus development projects.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as architecture or business administration, or equivalent experience in facilities management.
  • Extensive knowledge of property management, building systems, and maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with operational systems and software relevant to facilities management.
  • Experience managing a multi-building campus environment is preferred.
  • Background in higher education or multi-building property management is advantageous.
  • Experience in overseeing custodial services is a plus.
