Job Summary

G3 Quality, Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Inspector - Construction Materials Testing to join our team. As a Field Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of construction materials and processes on various projects throughout the Central Valley region in California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Document all testing activities and observations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Perform duties in a safe and responsible manner.
Requirements
  • Must be a member of the Operating Engineers Local 12 and/or Operating Engineers Local 3 union, or willing to join the union(s).
  • Physically able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications.
  • Nuclear gauge user HAZMAT certification.
  • Current Caltrans certification in various test methods relating to soil, concrete, and hot mix asphalt testing.
  • Other certifications are a plus (such as ACI, NICET, ICC, QSP).
