Job Overview

G3 Quality, Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Inspector to join our team in the Central Valley region of California. As a Field Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting quality control and assurance activities on construction projects, ensuring that materials and workmanship meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Perform quality control and assurance activities, including testing and sampling of materials.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Document all inspections and testing activities in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • Must be a member of the Operating Engineers Local 12 and/or Operating Engineers Local 3 union, or willing to join the union(s).
  • Physically able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Valid drivers' license.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications.
  • Nuclear gauge user HAZMAT certification.
  • Current Caltrans certification in various test methods relating to soil, concrete, and hot mix asphalt testing.
  • Other certifications are a plus (such as ACI, NICET, ICC, QSP).
