Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist to serve as the Medical Director of our Pediatric Cardiac Transplant and Heart Failure Programs. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, program development, and team management. They will be responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative aspects of our programs, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our Pediatric Cardiac Transplant and Heart Failure Programs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to pediatric and young adult patients
  • Develop and manage budgets, staffing, and resources for the programs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, payers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric cardiology, with a focus on cardiac transplant and heart failure
  • Strong leadership and program development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
