The Heart Institute at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced leader to become the Medical Director of the Pediatric Cardiac Transplant, Heart Failure, and Cardiomyopathy Programs.
The Heart Transplant Program has established itself as a leading program in the state of Florida, with a strong track record of success.
We are looking for a board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist with extensive experience in managing end-stage and advanced heart failure, as well as expertise in caring for cardiac transplant patients.
The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of post-training clinical experience and preferably two years of leadership experience.
They will also have extensive knowledge of UNOS and other regulatory guidelines for transplant practices, as well as evidence of scientific reasoning and authorship on peer-reviewed publications.
The Medical Director will join a multi-disciplinary team of transplant, heart failure, and MCS cardiologists and advanced practice providers to provide comprehensive care to pediatric and young adult patients.
They will be actively involved in Memorial Healthcare System's ACGME-accredited Graduate Medical Education programs and will have the opportunity to teach residents and fellows.
This is a full-time employed position with the Memorial Physician Group, offering a competitive benefits package and compensation commensurate with training and experience.
