Job Summary

Work Now Staffing is seeking a skilled Fabrication Supervisor to oversee the fabrication process for our Bedford Park client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the flow of parts and materials from request to completion.
  • Lead and supervise the fabrication team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the fabrication floor, monitoring tasks and supporting supply requests.
  • Schedule laser and fabrication operations to meet production needs.
  • Post the fabrication schedule daily and provide updates at periodic meetings.
  • Coordinate make parts deliveries and monitor inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage a small machine shop with 100+ small batch assembly production weekly.
  • Supervisory experience and excellent punctuality and attendance.
  • Read blueprints and drawings, with prior experience managing metal fabrication processes.
  • Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
