Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and respectful clinical environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care, using evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure that care is individualized and coordinated.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
  • Partner with patients and significant others (as appropriate) using effective communication methods, such as bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and just-in-time and planned patient teaching.
  • Practice using current clinical practice standards and demonstrate teamwork and collaboration by promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
  • Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care, and actively support shared governance at all levels in the system.

Required Minimum Education:

Diploma from an accredited nursing program or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

Reg Nurse (Single State) and RN - Multi-state Compact.

Additional Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support and BLS - Instructor.

Required Minimum Experience:

Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience.

Required Minimum Skills:

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language, and optimize the use of technology to support clinical care.
