The University of Chicago is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Radiology team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Perform image-guided procedures and provide patient care in a procedural environment.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, and monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Educate patients on disease and treatment plans, and document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in program building, quality measurement, and improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a related job discipline.
- Current and/or eligible for State of Illinois licensure/registration.
- Eligibility to be privileged and credentialed through the Medical Staff Office (MSO).
- Advanced degree from an accredited school/college of nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
- Experience in a procedural environment and/or performing procedures.
