Bell Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring a safe and attractive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff, providing regular performance appraisals and feedback.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties and grounds, identifying areas in need of repair and maintenance.
- Maintain grounds, coordinate lawn service, and other outdoor grounds services as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and residents.
- Respond to maintenance requests and concerns from residents and staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare apartments for new residents, ensuring they are clean and ready for occupancy.
- Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Attend required meetings and training programs, staying up-to-date on industry best practices.
- High school degree or equivalent required; 2-5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a multi-family housing environment.
- Personnel supervisory experience preferred; HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in some communities.
- Ability to lift 80 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
