The Material Handling Equipment Operator plays a crucial role in the logistics and warehousing sector by efficiently operating forklifts and other machinery to manage the movement of goods within a storage or production environment.

This position is vital for ensuring the safe and effective handling of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate powered industrial machinery and other lifting devices to transport goods to and from specified locations.
  • Load and unload products from trucks, pallets, and storage areas, ensuring proper handling and organization.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and updating documentation as required.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and report any inconsistencies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of forklifts and related equipment to guarantee optimal functionality.
Working hours: Various shifts available, typically from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Strong attention to detail

Education Requirements:
No formal degree necessary

Experience:

1-4 years of relevant experience

Qualifications:
Previous forklift operation experience is essential.
