Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Camin Cargo Control Inc. is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing laboratory testing and analysis of various samples to ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer, round robin, and quality control samples to verify conformity to specifications and standards.
  • Document test results and maintain accurate records, preparing corresponding customer or internal reports as needed.
  • Maintain sample cradle to grave process, including login, labeling, and disposal of samples.
  • Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control testing and calibrate instruments as required.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies in good working order.
  • Be available for non-working hours, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the Laboratory Manager or Coordinator.
Requirements:
  • High School Degree (or equivalent) required.
  • Basic computer, math, and science skills necessary.
  • Ability to grasp new procedures quickly and work independently.
  • Color vision required.
  • Pulmonary test for respirator use required.
Work Environment:

The workday may consist of 8-12 hours, with possible exposure to high and low temperatures for prolonged durations. Laboratory work is performed indoors under climate-controlled conditions.
