Company Description

The New York County District Attorney's Office is seeking a highly skilled Senior Investigative Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the investigative unit, you will play a critical role in building and enhancing complex cases and investigations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Assistant District Attorneys in developing long-term investigations into criminal activity.
  • Analyze video surveillance and create video compilations to support investigative efforts.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other data visualization tools to aid in case analysis and presentation.
  • Testify in grand jury proceedings, hearings, and trials by describing complex analytical processes in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and 2-4 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience with data visualization tools and geographic information systems (GIS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college in a related field.
  • Experience working with law enforcement agencies or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop and other geographic information systems (GIS) software.
