Clinical Director of Eating Disorder Services

This is a key leadership position responsible for achieving the objectives of the Eating Disorders services through clinical leadership, direction, and management of all available resources in accordance with policies, philosophies, and goals of the North Metropolitan Health Service Mental Health Public Health Dental Services (NMHS MHPHDS).
The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director, MHPHDS, and be responsible for establishing and leading the Eating Disorders Service in NMHS, which will provide community-based eating disorder treatment through a range of services, and expand the scope and capacity of the WA Eating Disorders Outreach and Consultation Service (WAEDOCS) to support these services.
This role will be a game changer in the management of eating disorders in WA and in the lives of the people they affect.
The WA Eating Disorders Outreach and Consultation Service (WAEDOCS) is a state-wide service that aims to ensure youth and adults in WA with an eating disorder can access optimal best practice care.
This will be facilitated through up-skilling and inspiring health care professionals to deliver evidence-based high quality eating disorders care.
The WAEDOCS team comprises a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, including a nurse practitioner, consultant clinical psychologist, consultant liaison psychiatrist, specialist physician, senior dietitian, clinical nurse specialist (mental health), and peer support worker.
