We are seeking an experienced Engineering Document Control Team Lead to join our team in support of new product introduction, change management, and volume manufacturing.

As a key member of our Engineering Services organization, you will lead a team of Document Control Specialists and coordinate problem-solving and process improvement activities related to document and change control.

Your responsibilities will include delegating daily tasks, prioritizing work, managing Engineering Change throughput, and leading change control process improvement activities.

You will also perform administrative duties in the PLM system, including configuring the system for optimal usability and data access speed, creating and removing user accounts, managing supplier access, and configuring PLM access for Symbotic's partners.

In addition, you will assist with data migration and release, create processes and workflows within PLM, address bugs or software errors with vendor PLM staff, maintain accuracy of product data in PLM, and participate in cross-functional meetings as the Doc Control representative.

Other key responsibilities include developing or updating policies and procedures related to PLM and organizational change management and process improvement, defining and running PLM data quality checks, reviewing and routing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), tracking ECOs for approval globally, executing Admin Change Orders (ACOs) when appropriate, and providing PLM and change management training to employees as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining electronic and physical record compliance with a product lifecycle management tool, preferably in a related field such as quality management.

You should also be competent in writing and formatting procedures and documents, as well as computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

Experience with Teamcenter and Arena PLM, SAP ERP, and SolidWorks ePDM is highly desirable.

The estimated salary for this position is around $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
