We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Associate to join our team in a bulk manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a sterile pharmaceutical operation and be able to perform a variety of tasks, including equipment cleaning, setup, and operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary operation activities in bulk manufacturing, including equipment cleaning, setup, and operation.
- Read and follow detailed written SOPs/procedures and detailed documentation of operations according to cGMP.
- Perform sample collection, equipment/process monitoring, and minor maintenance.
- Maintain individual training proficiency through individual Learning Management System.
- Document all work as required by cGMPs on a timely basis.
- Follow Alkermes internal policies.
- Perform facility/equipment cleaning and setup.
- Shift coverage and weekend work may be required.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in a sterile pharmaceutical operation.
- General knowledge of and adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Good level of mechanical aptitude; ability to perform minor non-routine equipment adjustments and diagnose improperly operating equipment.
- General computer word processing/spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to operate all types of production equipment.
