Chemical Operator

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Chemical Operator to join our team at Ascensus Specialties. This role will involve processing sodium ISO containers, handling supplies and shipments, conducting maintenance, and overseeing production with a DCS.

As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for various tasks including ISO container management, material handling and maintenance, documentation, process monitoring and control, and flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

• ISO Container Management: Heating, emptying, and switching ISO containers.
• Material Handling & Maintenance: Unloading raw materials, filter changes, sampling, cleaning equipment, loading/unloading products, equipment setup, preventive maintenance, product packaging, and warehouse support.
• Documentation: Recording inventory, environmental, and process readings.
• Process Monitoring & Control: Taking readings, learning and operating the DCS, monitoring the process, communicating issues, and making adjustments.
• Flexibility: Willingness to perform other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or Operations Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills.

This is a salaried position with an estimated annual salary range of $44,000-$66,400 based on experience.
