As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our herbal, vitamin, and nutraceutical supplements.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the encapsulation department, including coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
- Supervise a team of encapsulation technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in production processes.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with GMP regulations and Vitality Works' quality standards.
- Collaborate with other production supervisors and managers to improve operations, quality, and team performance.
- Participate in the development and improvement of SOPs and quality programming.
- Communicate with production support teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., manufacturing, operations, or business) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and understand written and spoken information in English in work-related documents, trainings, and day-to-day operations.
- Ability to lift or move heavy boxes, drums, etc. on a regular basis.
- Ability to follow all safety measures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
