Director of Manufacturing Operations

At LHH, we seek a visionary leader to helm our manufacturing operations, driving innovation and efficiency with a strong background in industrial engineering or a related field. The successful candidate will have over 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving operational improvements. Key responsibilities include leading and inspiring a team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Additional responsibilities include overseeing and managing all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, inventory control, and logistics. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of manufacturing goals with overall business objectives and managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies and have excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a team of manufacturing professionals.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality within the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of manufacturing goals with overall business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Implement and maintain Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving operational improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) and supply chain management.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
