Job Summary:

UPS is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure the efficient operation of our package handling facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, reducers, drive chains, and conveyor belts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections on plant equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Weld and fabricate equipment and parts as needed.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of the facility.
  • Document maintenance activities and repairs in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with experience working with motors, reducers, and conveyor belts.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
