Job Title: Paramedicine Adjunct Instructor

Columbus Technical College is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as an Adjunct Paramedic Instructor in the Paramedicine program. This role will involve teaching EMS courses, instructing students using various modalities, and ensuring student progress in attaining goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach EMS courses and develop program and course outlines, goals, and objectives
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Request and maintain supplies and equipment
  • Develop teaching methods and maintain management procedures and documentation
  • Meet with students, staff members, and other educators to discuss instructional programs and student progress
  • Ensure safety and security requirements are met in training areas
  • Respond to administrative requests in a timely manner
  • Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts
  • Maintain program accreditation requirements
Requirements:
  • Current licensure in Georgia as a Paramedic or RN, RRT, NP, PA, or MD/DO
  • Current licensure in Georgia as an Instructor/Coordinator (Paramedic)
  • Associate Degree or higher from an accredited academic institution
  • Current NREMT certification
  • Current CPR and ACLS certifications
  • Completed Teaching Internships for EMS Instructor/Coordinator requirements
  • Completed an approved EMS Instructional Preparation Curriculum Prep Course within the previous three years
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postsecondary teaching experience
Salary and Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No benefits are offered.
