Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Industrial Staffing Inc. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to obtain diagnostic images of specified body parts. You will work independently with minimal supervision, producing high-quality images for radiologists to interpret.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients, verifies their identity, and takes pertinent patient history.
  • Reviews orders, documentation, and patient information to ensure accurate procedures.
  • Explains procedures to patients, answers questions, and addresses concerns.
  • Positions patients, scans, and archives procedures according to established protocols.
  • Administers contrast media and documents patient medications.
  • Reconciles patient medications to prevent interactions with contrast media.
  • Assists coworkers and physicians as needed.

Requirements:

  • CT registered with 2+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation, and sterile techniques.
  • Patient positioning and equipment operation skills.

Schedule: 13 weeks, Monday to Friday, 7:30A-6P or 7:30A-8P, with every 4th weekend.
