Job Summary

We are seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist PRN to provide magnetic resonance imaging services to patients in a compassionate and respectful manner. As an MRI Technologist under the direction of a radiologist, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality MR images, preparing and positioning patients, and documenting clinical information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment
  • Obtain high-quality MR images, ensuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
  • Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare, and administer the appropriate contrast material
  • Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
  • Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases, and keep room stocked with necessary supplies
Requirements
  • Florida licensure as an MRI Technologist
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, basic computer, and clerical skills
