Brunswick, Maine, United States Androscoggin Bank Full time

Customer Engagement Specialist - Androscoggin Bank

Full Time Position (40 hours/week)

At Androscoggin Bank, you will play a vital role in a thriving organization dedicated to uplifting Maine's communities.

We offer comprehensive training and professional growth opportunities, along with excellent benefits such as paid volunteer time, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and more. You will be part of a team of high-performing, engaged colleagues.

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will be the face of the Bank, collaborating with your team to directly assist clients. This role is significant, impacting both the Bank and our valued clients.

Upon completing thorough training, you will handle a diverse range of service tasks, including teller functions, opening new checking and savings accounts, and managing moderately complex transactions with professionalism and precision.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for identifying clients' financial needs and delivering exceptional, solution-oriented service.

Building strong relationships with clients will enable you to provide personalized service, recognizing additional financial service needs such as mortgages, commercial loans, and investment services, and referring clients to the appropriate banking specialists.

Ideal candidates will possess outstanding customer service skills, a sales-oriented mindset, and a high level of accuracy in cash management and procedural adherence.

The ability to engage with both business and individual clients in a professional and approachable manner is crucial for success, as is the capacity to collaborate effectively with your team.

This full-time position requires 40 hours per week, including some Saturday mornings on a rotating basis.

This role comes with substantial benefits, including paid time off, holiday pay, participation in a 401k plan with a generous match, and access to a comprehensive insurance benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, and disability).

New parents are granted paid parental leave, and we also encourage community involvement through paid volunteer time.

Looking to advance your career and education? We are committed to supporting employee development, with benefits that include tuition and education reimbursement.

Do you want to be more involved and connected within your organization beyond your department? We offer opportunities through project teams, committees, events, in-house education, and more. It's a remarkable place to work.

Requirements:

Proven experience in customer service with a sales orientation, and a track record of accuracy in cash or data management.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preference will be given to candidates with prior success in a customer-facing banking role.

However, if you possess a genuine enthusiasm, a professional demeanor, and an innate ability to connect with people, we encourage you to apply.

We may consider training a strong candidate interested in a banking career.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, with some college coursework preferred.

We take pride in achieving B Corp Certification, which signifies our commitment to using profit to fuel our purpose, rather than serving as the purpose itself.
We are dedicated to serving the best interests of our clients, employees, and communities while honoring our environment. Learn more about our mission.
